ESPN the Magazine announced last week that Target Field is ranked #1 in the Stadium Experience category for all 4 professional leagues - MLB, NHL, NFL, and NBA. In the 8th Annual Ultimate Sports Standings, ESPN ranks all sports franchises and stadiums according to stadium experience, ownership, coaching, fan relations, players, and affordability. The fan base has been raving about the new stadium and has been a huge success. Overall, Target Field ranked #14 out of 122 possible stadiums in all professional leagues and #4 in MLB Stadiums. Likewise, the Metrodome was ranked #114 last year, a jump of 100 spots. That is quite the honor for the new stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The Minnesota Twins continue to sell out every game.
