Cliff Lee Dominates for Texas Rangers, Forces Fan to Ask Question "What If?"
The Minnesota Twins and fans realize one of the main components holding the franchise back from advancing to the World Series is the lack of an ace. If you glance at the Texas Rangers right now, they are up 3-1 on the New York Yankees and their only loss was letting go of a 5-0 lead in Game 1. While their bats have done the talking, Cliff Lee is once again proving himself as one of the best playoff pitchers in our generation. He silenced the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees bats so far in the playoffs. He is 7-0 with a 1.6 ERA in the playoffs. The Minnesota Twins nearly acquired Lee at the trade deadline. Makes a fan wonder what Lee would have done with the Twins.
