What do you think of current Music Dilemma at Target Field?

With new program director Dan Edwards behind the music that goes into your ear drums at Target field, many humans over the age of 40 have complained about the lack of baseball themed tunes and the increased amount of auto-tuned dance club tunes that have been played over the speakers. My dad and I have taken notice also.

Both of us agree that Edwards, who is also the assistant program director for the radio station and Pohlad owned 96.3, is playing far too many tunes that 14 year old girls like and not enough tunes the predominate Twins ticket buyer, a 30+ year old male likes.

My dad doesn’t have a problem with the walk up music for players, as he says, “whatever they need to be pumped and ready is fine by me.”

And I agree.

However besides the music the players choose, the music should be local acts or baseball themed tunes.

If you want some hip-hop play some Atmosphere

Want pop? Play Owl city

Want rock play The Hold Steady or anything by Craig Finn.

Twins fans are sick of this top 40 bubblegum crap.
