Two more of the 14 displaced trees from Target Field have found a home. The Twins will put the pair of black spruce at St. Croix State Park in Hinckley. There will be a brief ceremony.The Twins' hitters complained that the trees, formerly planted in center field, were a hindrance to the batters' abilities to see the ball leave the pitcher's hand.
I still find that to be unbelievable not true and, instead of the just black hole that now sits in center field, maybe the Twins should have put up more of that Minnesota limestone. The black hole looks weird.
