The Brewers may have beat our Minnesota Twins this year, but we have their announcer!Cory Provus has been hired as the new radio play-by-play voice for the Twins. Previously, Provus, 33, worked as the No. 2 radio voice for the Brewers, next to Bob Uecker, for the past three years.
Since the retirement of John Gordon at the end of this last baseball season, the Twins needed a new broadcast guy. Provus will join Dan Gladden. Cory will handle play-by-play duties for either five or six innings, with Gladden doing the rest of the innings. The two of them will always serve as a two-man booth.
Perhaps Provus will help shake things up for the Twins 2012 season!
