Will Target Field Upgrades Make a Difference To Fans?
After just blogging on the recent Target Field upgrades for next season, I was curious as what the fan reaction is. i think the scoreboard is pretty cool in right field
I love almost everything about this ballpark, but I must register one complaint that I hope they plan on addressing soon: the concourses at Target Field look exactly like the inside of a Target store. They are utterly charmless and speak nothing of the fact that the nation's pastime is played just a few feet away. Get a decorator in there and spruce that place up! I understand that Target Field isn't a "retro park", but does that mean that it needs to be bland and sterile? Understated for "Minnesota tastes" is one thing, but the aesthetic of the concourses is bordering on monkish asceticism. Please liven it up Twins.
