Will Tsuyoshi Nishioka Grace Target Field?
Last Friday, it was announced that Japanese superstar Tsuyoshi Nishioka may be headed to the Minnesota Twins next season. The Minnesota Twins won the bidding war to get the rights to negotiate a deal with the Japanese star - a $5 million price tag. The team has until December 26 to work out a deal. He could play either short stop or second base and is a switch hitter. Last season, he hit .346 with 206 hits, the first Japanese player to hit over 200 hits since Ichiro Suzuki. He also stole 22 bases. This player could generate some buzz in the middle infield.
