O’Donovan’s is a fun place to hang out with friends, listen to live music, or nurse an Irish brew. This bar has an overall great atmosphere and selection of drinks before a Twins game, Timberwolves game, or concert at Target Center. For all the beer lovers out there, O’Donovan’s has a great beer selection on tap. And, don’t forget about the authentic Irish food. Hit up happy hour and get the best deal out there. The outdoor dining area is fun before a summer Twins game! And after, the six minute walk to Target Field is simply an easy stroll. Also if you leave 700 N 1^st Ave Minneapolis (O’Donovan’s address) and walk up North 7^th St., you can easily avoid the crowds on 5^th St and 1^st Ave.

The massive patio is perfect for the summer adventures you will go on downtown. Kiernan’s is the perfect place to head for a quick drink, appetizer, or authentic Irish dinner before OR after a Twins game, especially if you are a Guinness beer fan and enjoy live music. And, what’s even better, is the fact that there’s a decent breakfast menu and breakfast cocktails if Twins fans are downtown for an early Twins game.
