Bars Near Target Field: Brother's Bar and Grill

Brother’s Bar and Grill is the new hot spot in the Warehouse District for the younger crowd. Head over there for happy hour or after the Twins game and you will be out of place if you’re not in your Twins gear. It’s huge, and the perfect place to grab a beer and meet some interesting people and other Twins fans. Brother’s has affordable drink specials - $2 Jag and Cherry bombs all night long, perfect for college students. If you don’t mind the frat boy experience (maybe that’s what you want after the Twins win?), come on out to Brothers (430 1st Ave N Minneapolis) to celebrate!

Bars Near Target Field: O'Donovan's

O’Donovan’s is a fun place to hang out with friends, listen to live music, or nurse an Irish brew. This bar has an overall great atmosphere and selection of drinks before a Twins game, Timberwolves game, or concert at Target Center. For all the beer lovers out there, O’Donovan’s has a great beer selection on tap. And, don’t forget about the authentic Irish food. Hit up happy hour and get the best deal out there. The outdoor dining area is fun before a summer Twins game! And after, the six minute walk to Target Field is simply an easy stroll. Also if you leave 700 N 1st Ave Minneapolis (O’Donovan’s address) and walk up North 7th St., you can easily avoid the crowds on 5th St and 1st Ave.

Bars Near Target Field: Kieran's Irish Pub

You sports fans must understand that Kieran’s Irish Pub is always packed before and after any sporting event (especially Twins games). However, in our experience, you can usually find a place at the bar or snag a table because Kieran’s is enormous. We love to see a downtown Minneapolis local restaurant chain succeed! The massive patio is perfect for the summer adventures you will go on downtown. Kiernan’s is the perfect place to head for a quick drink, appetizer, or authentic Irish dinner before OR after a Twins game, especially if you are a Guinness beer fan and enjoy live music. And, what’s even better, is the fact that there’s a decent breakfast menu and breakfast cocktails if Twins fans are downtown for an early Twins game. Kieran’s is located at 85 6th St N, Minneapolis, MN, a quick five minute drive to Target Field.
