The Minnesota Twins HUGE Home Opener at Target Field could not have gone better. The sun was shining, fans were excited, hot dogs were cooking and the Twins came out swinging. Although I was not at the Minnesota Twins Home Opener, I have heard very positive reports about Target Field and the outdoor baseball prospects for the rest of the season.
Minnesota Twins Fans who were at the game said that the Target Field Seats were super comfortable and that there really isn't a bad seat in the stadium. Twins Fans who visited Target Field for the exhibition games had commented that while the food was good, the lines were extremely long and slow. But by most reports the concession stand issues at Target Field were entirely cleaned up for Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The cherry on the sundae that was the Twins Home Opener was that the Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 5-2, the Twins play the Red Sox today at 12:10.
