According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the sports story of the 2010 year was the opening of Target Field. I, for one, agree with this point. As an avid Minnesota sports fan, Target Field is an absolutely phenomenal stadium and has done wonders for Downtown Minneapolis. This is what the article reads:
"In what would become the story of the summer, the Twins opened Target Field in April to rave reviews and a sound victory over the Boston Red Sox. It was an unseasonably warm and sunny April afternoon, and the auspicious start was a sign of things to come."
In case you missed it, there was a blizzard. In case you missed it, the Metrodome Roof collapsed. Okay, so everyone already knows that in Minnesota. Since the Metrodome is considered unplayable, the Minnesota Vikings will take on the Chicago Bears at TCF Bank Stadium. So, my question is, could the Minnesota Vikings ever play at Target Field? Here my perspective is that the Minnesota Vikings could possibly play a game there but there are some limitations. The seating is built for baseball, not football. However, I am interested in hearing your opinions. Comment and let me know!
TwinsFest 2011 is scheduled for Friday, January 28, Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30 at the H.H.H. Metrodome. Tickets for TwinFest 2011 are going on sale starting December 8th, 2010. More than 60 current, former and future Twins players are expected to appear throughout the course of the weekend for TwinsFest.
TwinsFest, one of the largest team-run fan festivals in professional sports, is an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. Since its inception in 1989, TwinsFest has raised more than $4.2 million for programs and organizations supported by the Twins Community Fund.
Last Friday, it was announced that Japanese superstar Tsuyoshi Nishioka may be headed to the Minnesota Twins next season. The Minnesota Twins won the bidding war to get the rights to negotiate a deal with the Japanese star - a $5 million price tag. The team has until December 26 to work out a deal. He could play either short stop or second base and is a switch hitter. Last season, he hit .346 with 206 hits, the first Japanese player to hit over 200 hits since Ichiro Suzuki. He also stole 22 bases. This player could generate some buzz in the middle infield.
After just blogging on the recent Target Field upgrades for next season, I was curious as what the fan reaction is. With the new scoreboard, "Twin Towers", and WiFi, I was interested in wondering what the Minnesota Twins fans' opinion is. Or, were there any other changes that you wish Target Field would have made? Please comment below and voice your opinion.
After a wonderful 1st season at Target Field, upgrades are already being made for the brand new stadium. Apparently they will spend $6 million on the new upgrades. One of the upgrades includes a new scoreboard. The new scoreboard will hang above right field seating area. A 100-foot tall LED-lit column will sit alongside the scoreboard, which will be called the "Twins Tower." Twins spokesman Chris Iles says the improvements to the ballpark will include adjustments to audio-visual elements and concession areas as well as a variety of aesthetical changes. There will also be free Wi-Fi Internet service provided throughout the ballpark. The Twins are calling it their "TwiFi" network.
The Minnesota Twins and fans realize one of the main components holding the franchise back from advancing to the World Series is the lack of an ace. If you glance at the Texas Rangers right now, they are up 3-1 on the New York Yankees and their only loss was letting go of a 5-0 lead in Game 1. While their bats have done the talking, Cliff Lee is once again proving himself as one of the best playoff pitchers in our generation. He silenced the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees bats so far in the playoffs. He is 7-0 with a 1.6 ERA in the playoffs. The Minnesota Twins nearly acquired Lee at the trade deadline. Makes a fan wonder what Lee would have done with the Twins.
The Minnesota Twins were not able to mount a comeback and was swept at the hands of the New York Yankees. It was an unfortunate end to what was a great regular season. I'd just like to say thanks to all those who visited the site during the year for any Minnesota Twins updates or Target Field news. It was a tremendous first year in the stadium and I only hope we can keep building on the success we started there this season. There will be plenty of decisions to make this offseason, as always. I'm already looking forward to next season.
The Yanks are up 2-0 (again). It hurts. If Minnesota were to win this series, it would be the deciding 5th Game at Target Field. However, one step at a time as they say. The Minnesota Twins need to win Game 3. It's win or go home. Brian Duensing will square off against Phil Hughes. For all us Minnesota Twins fans, go get em' guys.
The first round of the American League Playoffs will feature the Texas Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees. For the first time, the Minnesota Twins will have homefield advantage and host the New York Yankees. They have been defeated in 2003, 2004, and 2009 in the ALDS by the New York Yankees. This is a HUGE opportunity for revenge if the Minnesota Twins can get past the Bombers from the East. The series starts on Wednesday (7:30 Central) and will be followed with a game on Thursday (5 Central) at Target Field. Get your Minnesota Twins playoffs tickets today!
My season tickets are in Section 103. The view is fabulous and the atmosphere is great. Section 103 is along the first base line and right field. It offers a great view to the entire field and is right by Target Plaza. The Minnesota Twins have been fun to watch all summer long and now they will enter the postseason in October. The stadium experience is something I have never experienced in Minnesota. Before the game, we have stopped in at any of the local bars by the stadium, including Kieran's, O'Donovans, The 508 Club, and Roy Smalley's. Target Field is the place to be!
The Minnesota Twins are a hot ticket around this town. With a brand new ballpark and a team that is one of the best in all of baseball, the team has officially broken their attendance records for a season. The AL Central champions have drawn 3,063,327 through Wednesday's game against Cleveland. That breaks the previous record of 3,030,672 set in 1988, the year after the Twins won their first World Series championship. There are still 4 more home games to wrap up the season against the Toronto Blue Jays so that number will increase even more. Congratulations Minnesota Twins fans!
In the inaugural season at Target Field, the Minnesota Twins looked prime for a postseason birth. They currently have a magic number of 8 (combined Minnesota Twins wins and Chicago White Sox losses) until the American League Central Division is officially theirs. They also have their sights set on a higher prize: the best record in the American League, thus securing home field advantage throughout the playoffs. For now, a division title will be okay first. That would give the Minnesota Twins back-to-back AL Central Championships and 6 titles in the last 9 years (almost 7 - Game 163 in 2008). Twins fans be ready to purchase some playoff tickets!
Many critics claimed the Minnesota Twins would not have the same home field advantage at Target Field that they did at the Metrodome. It is now September 8th and the Minnesota Twins currently have the highest winning percentage at home, with a 47-23 record. They are 18-3 in their last 21 games at home. Needless to say, the Minnesota Twins would love to have that home field advantage for the AL playoffs.
They are currently 4.5 games ahead of the Chicago White Sox in the AL Central and trail the New York Yankees by 4 games for the best record in the American League. First things first- a playoff birth (winning the AL Central over the Chicago White Sox). However, it would be a cherry on top if they somehow captured homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Go Twins!
Torii Hunter was a fan favorite and wore the Minnesota Twin jersey proudly. After years of playing in the Metrodome, Torii Hunter left for greener pastures in Los Angeles, California. Although he is an Angel, he will always be a Twin. Torii Hunter was so important for the Twins during the pivotal years after Kirby Puckett. The team was supposed to be contracted from baseball. After visiting Target Field for the first time last weekend, Hunter couldn't help but be emotional. He knew he was a big reason that stadium is there today. In an interview after playing at the new ballpark, Torii Hunter said, "Target Field is better than Yankee Stadium. It's the best stadium in baseball." I agree with Torii, Target Field is the best stadium in baseball.
I was at the Minnesota Twins game on Friday, August 13th against the Oakland Athletics. After the 4-3 victory in which Carl Pavano posted his AL tying 15th victory of the year there were beautiful postgame fireworks. Target Field turned off all the lights except for the glowing TWINS sign in center field - it was majestic. It made me proud to be a Minnesota Twins fan since I was just a kid. The number of fans that stayed showed the loyalty of the fanbase for the hometown team. Simply put - Twins baseball is awesome. If you haven't been to Target Field you really need to go. Buy your Minnesota Twins tickets today!
After tonight's game with the Chicago White Sox, the Minnesota Twins will have played 17 out of their last 20 games on the road. Going from Baltimore, Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, and Chicago, the Minnesota Twins will be happy to come home. Starting on Friday (August 13th), they will have 9 straight home games against the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox, and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Hopefully the Twins can win tonight and bring back the momentum to Target Field for this important homestand in the pennant race!
Target Field has a wonderful assortment of food this season. The variety and possibilities are endless for any Minnesota Twins fan to enjoy. With many concessions stands and bars at Target Field, Minnesota Twins fans now have plenty of choices to choose from. Local favorites include Murray's Steak Sandwich, Tony O's Cuban Sandwiches, Angie's Kettle Corn, Kramarczuk Sausages, Schweigert Hot Dogs, Caribou Coffee, and J.D. Hoyt's Pork Chop On-A-Stick. Other food options include The Loon Cafe Chili, Michelbob's Ribs, Killebrew Root Beer, Target Field Juicy Lucy, Hennepin Grille, North Loop Deli, Senor Smoke's, Mill City Grill, Frankie V's Italian, North Shore Creamery, Halsey's Sausage Haus, Taste of Twins Territory, and State Fair Classics.
Another feature of Target Field is the Legend's Club Lounge, which is open to Club Level seat holders. The Legend's Club itself is a large climate controlled area featuring full service bars, large screen TV's, fireplaces, and upscale food options. There are several different lounge areas in the Legend's Club, all honoring different Minnesota Twin legends. The lounges include the Harmon Killebrew Lounge, the Kirby Puckett Lounge, and the Rod Carew Lounge. The 573 Bar is in Harmon Killebrew's Lounge - honoring his 573 home runs he hit. The Legend's Club is a great new area of Target Field and is a must for every Twin fan to check out!
High atop the left corner of Target Field stands the Budweiser Roof Deck. Another awesome feature of Target Field, the Budweiser Roof Deck was designed to be the ultimate Minnesota Twins outdoors experience. With a partial canopy, the area allows fans to hang out, watch the game, and enjoy food and beverages. One of the coolest parts of the Roof Deck is the large fire pit open to Minnesota Twin fans to hover around during those cool fall or spring evenings. There is also a bar and concession area on the Budweiser Roof Deck.
Target Field has many new features that Minnesota Twins fans were not used to with the Metrodome. The Metropolitan Club is another new aspect of the stadium that Twins fans are loving. The Metropolitan Club is a place for full and partial season ticket holders to enjoy pregame dining and drinks or a place to watch the game. Quipped with a buffet, bar, floor to ceiling windows, the Metropolitan Club has been a smashing success. It is a luxurious area that season ticket holders get rewarded for. To gain entrance, one must show your "Metropolitan Club Card" that verifies you're a member. Hanging on the walls are old photographs of famous players playing in Minnesota, such as Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, and Ted Williams. It's located on the second level, right above Target Plaza.
Fireworks at a Twins Game. That wasn't exactly a theme at Twins games in the past 28 years at the Metrodome. The closed Teflon roof on the stadium didn't allow for post-game fireworks. After a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday, July 2, Target Field sprayed the downtown Minneapolis skyline with fireworks. It exhibits how going to Target Field is more than just a game, it's an experience. The fireworks were set off on top of the parking ramp behind right field and adjacent to Target Plaza. Almost every fan stayed until the fireworks was lit off and crowds were watching outside the stadium. The fireworks lasted for 15 minutes.
ESPN the Magazine announced last week that Target Field is ranked #1 in the Stadium Experience category for all 4 professional leagues - MLB, NHL, NFL, and NBA. In the 8th Annual Ultimate Sports Standings, ESPN ranks all sports franchises and stadiums according to stadium experience, ownership, coaching, fan relations, players, and affordability. The fan base has been raving about the new stadium and has been a huge success. Overall, Target Field ranked #14 out of 122 possible stadiums in all professional leagues and #4 in MLB Stadiums. Likewise, the Metrodome was ranked #114 last year, a jump of 100 spots. That is quite the honor for the new stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The Minnesota Twins continue to sell out every game.
Tonight will be one busy area around Target Center and Target Field. At the Target Center, 16 year-old singing sensation Justin Bieber will be performing, while at Target Field the Minnesota Twins will square off against the AL Central rival Detroit Tigers. Both events will be starting at 7:00 PM. This marks the first time that both stadiums will be used at the same time. Since the stadiums are located right next to eachother, the downtown area should be very busy. If you are planning on going to either event, it might be a good idea to plan on a longer traffic time to arrive. The weather is supposed to be clear for tonight, so Target Field should expect 40,000 while the Target Center can expect around 15,000 for the Justin Bieber concert. It will definitely be a busy spot tonight.
The hot ticket in town right now, is without a doubt, Target Field. Fans have been flocking the Twins outdoor stadium since Opening Day on April 12th. Having indoor baseball for the last twenty-nine years have really made Twins fan marvel in the beauty of Target Field. One of the features of the stadium that has been a success is Target Plaza. The Target Plaza is located right behind the right field gate with the Minneapolis skyline tucked behind it. It's an open part of the stadium that is a great area for fans to enter the stadium, observe the Twins monuments, and watch the game.
The Plaza boasts Kirby Puckett, Rod Carew, and Harmon Killebrew statues, honoring the three Hall of Fame Twin hitters. Next to the opening gate is a Golden Glove statue that you can sit in and take a picture, honoring all of the Minnesota Twins Golden Glove Award winners. Walking from downtown Minneapolis into the stadium allows the fans to observe "Tradition Wall", which honors season-by-season rosters. The Twins have announced they plan on expanding Tradition Wall, where fans and families can have their names sketched into the glass panels. Overall, Target Plaza offers a connection to Twins history and their fans. Walking into the stadium observing statues of the Twins legends reminds the fans of the great players the organization have had. It adds to the great experience and atmosphere of Target Field.
Target Field got another first this past week, first accident. Target Field was on fire for a short time on Sunday evening when a gas powered power-washer started a blaze on one of the concourses. No-one was hurt and the Target Field Sprinkler System put out the flames before the fire department arrived. The Minneapolis Fire Department said the Target Field Fire was minor and that due to the few damages and no structural concerns, the Minnesota Twins’ home field would not need to be shut down at all. Target Field crews worked quickly to clean up the damage and replace a few broken ceiling tiles in a suite, and had Target Field up and running in time for Tuesday’s Minnesota Twins Game against the Colorado Rockies.
Target Field is staring to be known for several things... Great Outdoor Baseball, Great Food and Great Nicknames. The latest Minnesota Twins Nickname is "the Wave"... now you may be thinking that the Wave has been around for quite some time but at Target Field "the Wave" refers to the wind veil. If you haven't been to Target Field check out this video and watch Target Field "THE WAVE"
If you have been to a Minnesota Twins Game at Target Field or have seen someone's Target Field pictures, you likely can picture the Golden Golve. Oversized and glistening the Target Plaza Gold Glove has turned into the must-take picture location at Target Field.
Minnesota Twins fans are standing in line, sometimes long lines to sit in the glove and snap a picture. If you have Minnesota Twins Tickets for Target Field, I suggest going early to the game or staying late if you plan on taking a picture from the glove.
Although most fans typically pick the traditional sitting pose, if you wait long enough you can see people trying more daring poses inside the Target Plaza Gold Glove.
Although parking in and around Target Field is limited, Minnesota Twins fans have not seemed to mind. Along with several parking ramps and surface lots that provide parking near Target Field, Twins fans have also seemed to embrace the Lightrail and its ability to get you right up to the Target Field Gates.
One Twins fan noted, "the Lightrail is a great option, I parked really close to the stop on Lake Street and road it right to the Gates, I never would have gotten this close if I had parked and getting home was so much faster than the traffic on I94, the Lightrail is the best way to "park" near Target Field!"
After the pair of losses in New York, I think Minnesota Twins fans are even more excited for the Yankees to show up at Target Field a week from today. I know I can't wait for the Yankees (who think they are "all that") to see Target Field and all it's glory. The Yankees aren't the only team in baseball that have a stadium to be proud of and I think they will be humbled when they roll into town.
I bet local sports stars like Minnesota Timberwolves star rookie, Jonny Flynn, who is a New York native, will likely be at one of the Twins Yankees games next week, but celebrity support or not, Minnesota Twins fans are more excited than ever that this Yankees Twins series can go our way.
Before the Yanks arrive, the Minnesota Twins will host Milwaukee this weekend and I am betting there will be plenty of Milwaukee Brewers fans who make the trip to Target Field. Be ready to be wowed, Brewers and Yankee fans! Target Field is the best!
Last Saturday the Minnesota Twins played a double header against the Baltimore Orioles due to a rain out on Friday. Despite a few disappointed fans who couldn't make it to Target Field on Saturday, the first rain delay game went off without a hitch.
The Minnesota Twins lost 3-7 in the first game and came back for game two to win 6-1... proving to Twins Fans that rain outs are not something to be feared. The Minnesota Twins Roster will be able to handle playing back to back games just fine. With clear skies predicted for the weekend it is unlikely we will be seeing another rain out any time soon.
If there is a rain out, don't stress... Twins Tickets from the original game will be honored and you will be able to attend the re-scheduled game. If you can't make the re-scheduled game the refund/exchange policy varies depending on where you purchased your Twins Tickets.
If you are heading to Target Field for a Twins Game anytime soon you should have a parking plan in advance, although there are lots of options for parking near Target Field, it is downtown Minneapolis and parking can get a bit complicated.
I found these tips on the Target Field Website, check them out and make sure that you are a well-informed parker.
•Plan ahead and consider all transportation options available to you. •The parking lot or ramp you have always used for Metrodome events may work well for Target Field events. •Parking further away from Target Field may provide a quicker overall exit from an event. •Be sure to allow at least 10 minutes for walking; 15-20 minutes if you are parked several blocks away. •Rates vary based upon ramp and location. You can find rates for Minneapolis Municipal parking online
I suggest looking at the ramp on 7th or the surface level lot on 3rd, I have had the best luck there finding spots that are easy to get in and out of.
If you live in the Twin Cities and watch the local news have likely heard all about the food at Target Field. From the standard Hot Dogs and Cracker Jacks to the unique, the cuisine at Target Field offers a little something for everyone.
Some of the most popular choices for Target Field Food include: Chicken Wild Rice Soup Summit Pale Ale Cubano Sandwiches Juicy Lucy's Angies Kettle Corn
If you are looking for a real challenge, by Twins Tickets for a weekend series and try to eat one of everything. Come hungry and be ready to leave stuffed and satisfied!
The Minnesota Twins will be busy in the month of May... with lots of Twins Games at home on Target Field, get your Twins Tickets today and make sure you are in the front row to watch the Twins take on lots of great teams!
It has been just over a week since the Minnesota Twins Home Opener at Target Field. With Twins Ticket Prices starting to drop more and more Twins Fans have been admitted through the Target Field Gates and not a one of them has had a complaint... except for maybe about the weather, but that is to be expected with outdoor baseball, Twins fans will pick up the learning curve on how to dress for outdoor baseball (say it with me, layers!)
Top 10 things Minnesota Twins Fans LOVE about Target Field:
1) The seats, believe it or not apparently there heads and shoulders above the seats at the HHH Metrodome
2) Sitting in the sunshine (duh.. who wouldn't love that)
3) All of the seating choices, for those of you willing to spend more on Minnesota Twins Tickets, there are lots of different options for seats at Target Field including box seating and outdoor seats with access to climate controlled concourses... think about it, those August games might get a little warm
4)The food, although it is a little pricey apparently the hot dogs are Target Field are to die for.
5) What playing outside does to the Twins Players, they play better outside, for real
6) The element of surprise, apparently it makes it more fun to go to a Minnesota Twins Game not knowing if it will be clear sunny skies the whole game, its like extreme baseball watching
7) Singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game with Sue for the 7th inning stretch
8) Sitting in the Sun (it deserves 2 spots)
9) Night Games. enough said
10) The best part of Target Field is that it was built just for the Minnesota Twins and it is a Minnesota Twins Fan Mecca, the Twins Gear, Twins Stuff and Twins Spirit could not be higher anywhere else...
The Minnesota Twins HUGE Home Opener at Target Field could not have gone better. The sun was shining, fans were excited, hot dogs were cooking and the Twins came out swinging. Although I was not at the Minnesota Twins Home Opener, I have heard very positive reports about Target Field and the outdoor baseball prospects for the rest of the season.
Minnesota Twins Fans who were at the game said that the Target Field Seats were super comfortable and that there really isn't a bad seat in the stadium. Twins Fans who visited Target Field for the exhibition games had commented that while the food was good, the lines were extremely long and slow. But by most reports the concession stand issues at Target Field were entirely cleaned up for Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox. The cherry on the sundae that was the Twins Home Opener was that the Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 5-2, the Twins play the Red Sox today at 12:10.
Target Field is completely amazing! After seeing the first Twins exhibition game on Friday night, I am already looking over the Twins schedule and picking more games to attend this spring/summer/fall. If you don't have Target Field tickets yet, GET THEM! You won't be disappointed with this venue.
Here is a picture of the First Minnesota Twins Pitch at Target Field:
You have to hand it to the Target Field marketing team... as the Twins Home Opener gets closer and closer and ticket prices get more and more expensive their efforts to sell seats get better and better. Over the weekend Target Field hosted an Open House Event, welcoming Minnesota Twins fans and curious Twin Cities Citizens alike into the Target Field Stadium to get a look at the new home of the Minnesota Twins.
Excitement may be the best advertising, I've read several reports that Target Field is one of the best baseball stadiums anyone has been in and watching Minnesota Twins Games from the Target Field will be great. As if Twins Tickets needed any help selling themselves, the Target Field Open House definitely sent a few more tickets out of the Target Field Box Office Door. With just over 3 weeks until the Twins Home Opener, Target Field Buzz is about to reach an all time high, get ready Twins Fans here we go!
I just read a post on a blog written by an owner of Ticket King about the Legends Club at Target Field. The best part of the post was the picture that shows what the view is from the front row of the Target Field legends Club. It looks like the Legends Club is a GREAT place to watch a Twins game from. I checked the Ticket King website and it appears as though they have a few Twins ticket options available in the Legends Club. Hopefully, they will continue to post pictures from other seats at Target Field. I will do my best to keep you informed and educated on all Target Field Tickets.
All winter long, Target Field, the new home of the Minnesota Twins, sat relatively quiet... just waiting for the Minnesota Twins fans to start coming. Well Target Field is no longer waiting for fans to flock to.
This past weekend Minnesota Twins Tickets went on sale and Target Field has had a steady stream of people there ever since. Minnesota Twins promoters are eager to see this traffic continue to grow as the Twins Home Opener gets closer and closer.
The Target Field box office now has single game tickets available, but for the big games like the Twins Home Opener or the Twins-White Sox series, you will have to head to ticket sites or brokers to get Minnesota Twins Tickets.
I'd like to believe that my last post inspired the masses of Minnesota Twins fans to buy Minnesota Twins Tickets for the Twins Exhibition Games at Target Field. What may be more likely is that the turn around in Minneapolis weather reminded people that they LOVE Minnesota Twins Baseball and are REALLY excited for Outdoor Twins Baseball.
The Twins Target Field Exhibition Games will be March 3rd and March 5th against the St. Louis Cardinals. Although it may be a bit chilly in April, both games are totally worth piling on the layers for. The Twins Exhibition Games in Minnesota are selling better than any of the games in Florida and right now are selling almost as well as the Minnesota Twins Home Opener at Target Field.
Online Ticket Sites like Ticket King have great seats left for the Target Field Exhibition Games as well as the regular season games. Grab your Twins Tickets today before you are lefting listening to the game from the street!
There is a lot of hype surround the Minnesota Twins Home Opener at Target Field on April 12th. Fans are eager to see what the new outdoor stadium for the Minnesota Twins is going to look like. What fans don't seem to know is that they do not have to wait for the Home Opener at Target Field to go to a game there... the Minnesota Twins are playing two spring exhibition games at Target Field in April.
On April 2nd and April 3rd the Minnesota Twins will return from Spring Training in Florida to take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Target Field. The Game is going to be exhibition and won't count for towards the Twins Target Field Record of MLB season score, but for true Minnesota Twins fans this is the first time fans will be able to check out the brand new home of the Minnesota Twins.
With the Minnesota Vikings Season sadly over, and the Minnesota Wild season rating in as just average, Twin Cities Sports Fans have turned their attention to Target Field and the Minnesota Twins.
In exactly2 months and 16 Days, or 108,000 minute, or 1800 hoursthe Minnesota Twins will step onto Target Field for the 2010 Twins Home Opener. The Twins Home Opener is always a great game but the first ever Target Field Home Opener is going to be CRAZY... The die-hard Minnesota Twins Fans have had tickets for the April 12th game for months...
those of us who can't afford the high ticket prices are hoping for day of singles or scalpers, though I think its more likely that I will be seeing the inside of Target Field in 2 months and 20 days, when all of the Home Opener Chaos settles down and the Minnesota Twins take on the Cleveland Indians at Target Field. If you are still trying to scam Minnesota Twins Tickets, I suggest looking at secondary ticket sites, like Ticket King, who have some of the best tickets for Target Field. If you can wait with me, there are always single game Twins Tickets available much closer to the start of the Minnesota Twins Season.
Check out this blog for weekly updates about all things Minnesota Twins and Target Field, I have lots of connections to the Twins and Target Field and will pass on insider photos and info that I get from them.
I regularly attend Minneapolis and St Paul events and consider myself a local Twin Cities event "expert" including the ins and outs to getting tickets to every event in the Twin Cities.
